Please note that the Junk Silver prices listed here are approximate, and are based on the current spot price of silver: 17.31 / oz. They represent the melt value of the silver content only. Other precious metal content such as copper is not taken into account. Also, keep in mind that these coins tend to trade at a slight premium to melt value.
Ebay is most often the best place to find deals on junk silver coins, especially if you're not buying in bulk. If you follow the melt values closely, you can usually find coins for very low premiums, and sometimes even at a discount to their intrinsic precious metal value.
